Mishka Films produced a commercial for Cedar Valley, a premium residential development in Surgut. The goal was to create a TV and online campaign that would drive sales and elevate the perceived value of the project. A key requirement was to highlight the infrastructure and the unique location — surrounded by greenery yet close to the city centre.

We set out to craft a film that not only met these criteria but also carried emotional value for the city itself, inspiring pride among Surgut’s residents. To achieve this, we combined aerial cinematography with ground-level filming: sweeping city panoramas balanced with intimate, emotional shots.

The atmosphere was enhanced with a carefully selected soundtrack and the voice of Sergei Chonishvili — one of Russia’s most iconic narrators. His instantly recognisable tone gave the film additional weight and authenticity.

The client was delighted with the result and eager to share the commercial with audiences.
